#TisTheDumpsterFire + Our favorite holiday recipes
Here's the link straight to our favorite recipe if you don't care about the following blog post because #WeGetIt.... Merry Christmas >>> https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/9861/chocolate-crinkles-ii/
It's December, and we can almost hear a simultaneous *sigh* around the world as 2020 comes to an end. I'm know we can all agree there are 101 reasons this year turned out to be a dumpster fire... but what about the reasons it hasn't been? Does the bad of this year completely negate the good things that have happened in our lives? Can you stop and think of 5 things to be thankful for this year? And I don't mean the #Thankful #Blessed social media bullshit. I mean taking 2 minutes in the privacy of your own head to come up with 5 things you can celebrate that came out of 2020.... and not have to tell Instagram. ;)
Chances are you can probably come up with a list of 20+...... because #TisTheDumpsterFire.
What if we changed the narrative for the rest of the year? 20 days. 20 days to end this year. 20 days of positivity. 20 days of what we usually call the "best time of the year" and remember that it is STILL the holiday season. While you don't need it, you have full permission to cut negativity out of your life (people or things), and embrace the good of this year.
So, put up ALL the decorations, delete the Grinches on your social media, eat a dozen or two tamales, buy YOURSELF a Christmas gift (#ShopSmall), hug your family extra tight, and just say #TisTheDumpsterFire, because we all have at least 5 things to celebrate this year.
And if you can't think of 5 things to celebrate, here are 5 holiday recipes you can make and eat by yourself Mr. Grinch :)
Happy Holidays, whatever you're celebrating this year!
